New Price List of Halls of Residence Fees
Dear students,
We are currently publishing a new price list for the academic year 2023/2024, valid from the 1st of July 2023.
At the accommodation committee in November 2022, it was agreed to increase dormitory prices by 10% from July 2023, mainly due to the increase in energy prices according to the estimated forecasts for 2023.
With the end of the heating season, partial data show us that the university will manage to reduce energy consumption by roughly 10 to 15 percent, which at the current prices means a saving that has also been reflected in the university's economic balance sheet.
Thanks to the reduced energy consumption, the dormitory fees will remain unchanged this calendar year.
At the same time, we would like to inform you that on the 1st July 2023, a new type of triple room will be created at the Mánesova dormitory, replacing the original four-bed room. The price difference between the former four-bed room and the new triple room is 22 Czech crowns per bed per night.
We would also like to draw your attention to the validity of the inflation clause in future accommodation contracts, which, according to the provisions of the Czech Statistical Office, will be applied at the end of January 2024, with effect from the 1st of February 2024.
